Portolis
origin  The name 'Portolis' is derived from Portolano: the first ship pilot maps and books used in medival navigation in Europe. The Portolano was needed by the pilot to bring ships in or out a save harbour. We have chosen this metaphor to indicate that we work with organisations that use geo-information to improve and innovate their business and we provide expertise and experience to find your way between all the options and decisions when implementing geo-information in your business. |
